<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fixing structure enabling joining of a plurality of cases to each other without complicating a manufacturing process in a motor constituted by fixing the cases. <P>SOLUTION: A stepping motor includes a first case storing a first stator and a second case storing a second stator. The first case and the second case are made to abut on each other so that a flange of the first stator opposes to a flange of the second stator, and the abutment parts are joined to each other by welding.
