<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an actuator which can achieve miniaturization, and to provide an electric razor using the same. <P>SOLUTION: An actuator 7 includes: a magnetic pole-forming part 9 which has an electromagnet 13 which alternately forms different magnetic poles with energization; a magnetic block 10 which is provided facing this magnetic pole-forming part through a predetermined gap, is equipped with a magnetic body to perform suction and repel to the magnetic pole that the magnetic pole-forming part has formed, and performs reciprocating movement relatively to the magnetic pole-forming part 9; and an elastic support part 11 which supports this magnetic block 10 reciprocatably.
