<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mobile electronic device which has improved safety and which can prevent erroneous operation, electric leakage, or electric shock occurring when it is wetted with water. <P>SOLUTION: A mobile ion generator 1 as a mobile electronic device comprises: a battery 17 as a functional member which has a member terminal 17a for supplying power; a lower housing part 10a in which the battery 17 is attachably/detachably housed, and which is provided with a housing part terminal 14a electrically connected to the member terminal 17a when the battery 17 is housed; and a water absorbing expansion member 19 which is provided in the lower housing part 10a at a position between the lower housing part 10a and the battery 17, and which expands, when it absorbs water, in a direction to move the battery 17 in such a manner that the member terminal 17a moves away from the housing part terminal 14a, thereby releasing the electrical connection between the member terminal 17a and the housing part terminal 14a. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
