<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide emulsion ink for an electrowetting device capable of easily manufacturing a high-quality electrowetting device, and furthermore, to provide an electrowetting device using the emulsion ink for an electrowetting device. <P>SOLUTION: Emulsion ink for an electrowetting device, which is formed by dispersing hydrophobic liquid into hydrophilic liquid, contains a nonionic surfactant composed of a compound including a hydrophobic segment and a compound including a hydrophilic segment.
