<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a range switching device having high responsiveness at shift range switching. <P>SOLUTION: The shift range switching device is equipped with a memory device storing in advance information on a low-speed section (A) where a manual valve moves at a standard speed. A control unit controls a stepping motor so that the manual valve moves at a standard speed V<SB POS="POST">b</SB>when the manual valve is located in the low-speed section (A) at the shift range switching, and controls the stepping motor so that the manual valve moves at a speed V<SB POS="POST">f</SB>higher than the standard speed V<SB POS="POST">b</SB>when the manual valve is located in the section B other than the low-speed section. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
