<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pedal device capable of reducing maintenance frequency and expenses and returning an accelerator pedal to a position where an accelerator is turned off even in case of failure. <P>SOLUTION: The pedal device 1 includes: the accelerator pedal 3 swingably mounted to a vehicle 2; and a shock absorber 4 interposed between the accelerator pedal 3 and the vehicle 2. The shock absorber 4 suppresses rotation of the accelerator pedal 3 with respect to rotation to a pedaling direction of the accelerator pedal 3, and does not restrict the rotation of the accelerator pedal 3 with respect to rotation to a returning direction of the accelerator pedal 3. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
