The "Cascade-M" hydrodynamic device acts as a floating or mobile low-power hydroelectric power plant, the main technical part of which is a submersible working element which comprises a horizontal bladed turbine mounted in a nozzle (hydrodynamic pipe) having a water deflector. The submersible working element can be easily raised out of the water with the aid of a lifting mechanism for technical maintenance and for moving to a different location. The submersible working element contains hermetically sealed converting and transmitting mechanisms - a reduction gear or hydraulic pump, which mechanisms operate under water on a shaft together with the turbine. With the aid of said mechanisms, mechanical power is obtained at receiving mechanisms - a reduction gear with a shaft, which is joined to an electric generator, or a hydraulic motor with flexible tubes and an electric generator. The receiving mechanisms and the lifting mechanism with the submersible working element are mounted on a working platform which, in turn, is mounted on a floating mobile catamaran-type vessel or on a bridge, or on a framework mounted above a rapidly flowing body of water, for example downstream of a small hydroelectric power plant, or another waterway.
|
