<p>The purpose of the present invention is to provide a highly safe drug which can effectively inhibit hepatitis C virus infection per se so as to prevent inflammation, differing from symptomatic treatments whereby various types of inflammations caused by hepatitis C virus infection are merely suppressed. Provided is an inhibitor for hepatitis C virus infection, said inhibitor comprising a prostaglandin I2 agonist.</p>
