<p>A positioning method and a positioning server are disclosed in the invention. The method includes that: when the distance between at least one base station in an adjacent cell and a serving base station is less than or equal to a preset threshold of base station distance, or when the distances between all base stations in adjacent cells and the serving base station are all larger than the preset threshold of base station distance, and a terminal is in close proximity to the serving base station, a positioning technology by single base station is adopted to calculate a position estimation of the terminal. According to the technical solution in the invention, the position estimation of the terminal can be implemented more precisely.</p> |
