The device (10) has two lasers (12, 14) for respectively emitting pulsed laser radiations, and a non-linear optic element (28) for adding frequencies of the radiations. An optical device (34) links the laser radiations of the lasers or combines the laser radiations to form a resulting laser radiation (32) into the non-linear optic element. An optical amplifier (26) amplifies the radiation of the one of the lasers by absorption of the radiation of the other laser, where wavelength of the radiation of the latter laser is shorter than that of the radiation of the former laser.
