PURPOSE: A method for producing moving picture content using screen capture and a device thereof are provided to set the size and transmission bandwidth of a moving picture, and produce compressed moving picture content with a relatively small size for streaming in real time. CONSTITUTION: An input module(201) inputs data about user action. An input screen setting module(202) sets a location of an input screen area or a width and height value of an input screen size. A moving picture size setting module(203) automatically calculates a width and height value of an output moving picture size. A transmission bandwidth setting module(204) automatically calculates an optimal transmission bandwidth for the output moving picture. A screen capturing and storing module(205) compresses a screen by a codec while capturing the screen in real time.
