<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rice cooking pot which prevents a failure in traveling of the rice cooking pot by a conveyance means. <P>SOLUTION: The rice cooking pot 2 is used for a continuous rice cooking apparatus. The rice cooking pot 2 is provided with a rectangular bottom plate 41 and side plates 42 erected at the end of the periphery of the bottom plate 41. The bottom plate 41 has an upward projecting plate portion 45 to prevent the lower surface of the bottom plate 41 from being brought into contact with a heating means due to thermal expansion. The projecting plate portion 45 comprises a first linear projecting plate portion 51 and a second linear projecting plate portion 52 which intersects with the first linear projecting plate portion 51 at the center position of the bottom plate 41.
