<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily prevent double reading of commodity information from a two-dimensional code. <P>SOLUTION: A code reader in the embodiment includes photographing means, detection means, size recognition means and reading means. The photographing means photographs an image. The detection means detects a two-dimensional code into which information on commodity transaction is converted, from the photographed image. The size recognition means recognizes a size of the detected two-dimensional code. The reading means reads the information from the detected two-dimensional code when the recognized size of the two-dimensional code is different from a size of a two-dimensional code which was recognized right before in the same transaction processing. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
