<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rack for housing an apparatus in which a usable space in the body can be widened while decreasing the number of components, and the strength is enhanced compared with prior art without attaching a reinforcement member. <P>SOLUTION: Three fixing metal fittings 11, 21, 31 are erected between a pair of support members 2, 2 standing in the vertical direction on a front side of a rack body obtained by assembling the columnar support members 2, 2... into a substantially rectangular parallelepiped.
