<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an alarm systems suppressing a decrease in response. <P>SOLUTION: An alarm system has an alarm unit 1a connected to a transmission device (master unit 2a) for transmitting radio waves and an alarm unit 1b connected to a reception device (slave unit 2b) for receiving the radio waves. The transmission device is configured to be able to transmit radio waves using multiple channels and regulated not to be able to transmit radio waves using one channel continuously beyond a predetermined time duration.
