<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a posture conversion device achieving reduction in the number of parts, facilitating the assembly, and capable of converting the posture of paper money within a length the same as that of the paper money. <P>SOLUTION: The posture conversion device includes: (a) a paper money receiving unit receiving the paper money conveyed in a vertical posture; (b) a posture conversion unit comprising a conveying belt stretched between a first pulley and a second pulley and having a second pulley side twisted by 90 degrees to an opposite side of a roller and a posture conversion guide in the vicinity of the conveying belt from a first pulley proximity position to a second pulley proximity position, extending along the conveying belt, and converting the vertical posture of the paper money received by the paper money receiving unit into a lateral posture; (c) a paper money discharge unit comprising a pair of upper and lower curved guides guiding the paper money sent from the posture conversion unit to a discharge slot and a conveying means conveying the paper money guided by the curved guides to the discharge slot and discharging the paper money converted into the lateral posture from the discharge slot provided at a lower side of the second pulley; and (d) a drive unit rotating and driving the first pulley or the second pulley and the conveyor. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
