<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To control responsiveness and an absolute amount of increase and decrease of a wheel load and to more safely perform driving control of a vehicle. <P>SOLUTION: A damping-force characteristic of damping-force variable dampers 6 and 9 provided on a side of a wheel whose load is increased in a plurality of wheels 2 and 3 is variably controlled by executing any one of: compression stroke hard and soft switching control switching the damping-force characteristic to a hard side in an early stage in a compression stroke and switching the damping-force characteristic to a soft side in a latter stage; and extension stroke soft and hard switching control switching the damping-force characteristic to a soft side in an early stage in an extension stroke and switching the damping-force characteristic to a hard side in a latter stage. The damping-force characteristic of the damping-force variable dampers 6 and 9 provided on a side of a wheel whose load is decreased is variably controlled by executing any one of: compression stroke soft and hard switching control switching the damping-force characteristic to a soft side in the early stage in the compression stroke and switching the damping-force characteristic to a hard side in the latter stage; and extension stroke hard and soft switching control switching the damping-force characteristic to a hard side in the early stage in the extension stroke and switching the damping-force characteristic to a soft side in the latter stage. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
