PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric wire cover stripping device capable of surely recovering a strip waste that occurs at the time of cover stripping.

SOLUTION: An electric wire cover stripping device 100 includes an air nozzle 137 which jets air stream toward cover stripping means 220. A duct 290 is provided which sucks the waste of the electric wire cover that has been stripped. The nozzle 137 is arranged at a position laterally deviated from the clamping position of an electric wire along feeding direction of the electric wire. The nozzle 137 blows air stream when clamping means shifts laterally and the nozzle 137 approaches the center of the cover stripping means 220.
