<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a cooling liquid to be reliably replenished in a short time in a sheet material cutting device on the premise that proper cutting may be performed for a long period of time by reliably preventing rise in temperature of a rotary blade or partial welding of a sheet material. <P>SOLUTION: The sheet material cutting device includes: a working support table 2; a cutting head 3 cutting a sheet material W on the working support table 2 by a rotary blade 16; a head moving mechanism 4 moving the cutting head 3; a cooling unit 5 provided at the cutting head 3 and including a tank 35 storing the cooling liquid and a cooling tool 36 applying the cooling liquid in the tank 35 to the rotary blade 16; and a replenishing unit 6 replenishing the tank 35 with the cooling liquid. The replenishing unit 6 includes a storage part 70 storing the cooling liquid, a feed piping part 47 and a return piping part 48 communicating the tank 35 and the storage part 70 with each other when supplying water to the tank 35, and a negative pressure generation device 71 establishing negative pressure in the return piping part 48 during the supply of water. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
