<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reduced pressure casting apparatus that facilitates the operation for exchanging a product mold compatible with high decompression for a non-compatible one. <P>SOLUTION: The reduced pressure casting apparatus includes: a plunger rod 3; a plunger tip 4 provided in an end of the plunger rod 3; an injection sleeve 1 disposed so that the plunger tip 4 can be reciprocated; a decompression cup 5 for encircling an end of the injection sleeve 1 on the side opposite to the mold; and a seal unit externally inserted slidable to an outer periphery of the plunger rod 3 and also coming into slide-contact with the outer periphery of the plunger rod 3 to seal a slide-contact surface of the rod. In the device for vacuum casting, the decompression cup 5 is formed so as to be dismountable from the end of the injection sleeve 1 on the side opposite to the mold, and also a fixing jig 8 is provided so as to fixedly hold the seal unit 6 at an end of the plunger rod 3 on the side opposite to the mold. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
