An electrochemical device with high energy density and capacity for size reduction is provided. Also provided is an electricity storage package structure (20) comprising: frame-shaped sections (a lower frame section (202) and an upper frame section (203)) comprising a pair of insulators that face each other through a bonding surface; a lid mounted to an opening in the frame-shaped sections to form an airtight structure; and an extracting electrode (204) formed on at least one outside wall of the pair of frame-shaped sections. The electrode structure of this electricity storage package structure is mounted and electricity can be readily supplied from the extracting electrode, to obtain a highly efficient electrochemical device.
