<p>[Problem] To provide an information acquiring device having improved dot pattern inspection accuracy, and an object detecting device having the information acquiring device mounted thereon. [Solution] An information acquiring device (1) is provided with: a laser light source (111), which outputs a laser beam having a wavelength of approximately 830 nm; a projection optical system (11), which projects the laser beam toward a target region; and a CMOS image sensor (124), which receives reflected light from the target region, and outputs signals. The projection optical system (11) projects the laser beam toward the target region such that the dots of a reference pattern of the laser beam received by the CMOS image sensor (124) have a pitch of 2.5 pixels or more at least in the arrangement direction of the laser light source (111) and the CMOS image sensor (124).</p> |
