A pre-filled syringe (1) comprises an outer tube side unit (21) in which one of either a drug or a fluid is stored in advance, and an inner tube side unit (22) in which the other is stored in advance, the inner tube side unit (22) being disposed spaced apart from the outer tube side unit (21). The tip part of the inner tube (4) of the inner tube side unit (22) is provided with a retaining and sealing member (5) having a pressure contact part (51) that is brought in partial pressure contact with the inner circumference of an outer tube (3) when the tip part is inserted into the outer tube (3), the retaining and sealing member (5) being able to slide within the outer tube (3). This makes it possible to maintain the state where the tip part of the inner tube (4) is inserted into the outer tube (3), and to prevent the pressure inside the outer tube (3) from rising when the inner tube (4) is moved in the direction of the tip relative to the outer tube (3).
