摘要 <p>Provided is a magnetic refrigeration system in which the heat transport amount from a magnetocaloric material to a heat transport medium is increased to thereby improve the refrigeration efficiency. The magnetic refrigeration system comprises: a heat exchanger which has inlet/outlet ports for the heat transport medium at both ends thereof and contains a magnetocaloric material in the inside thereof; a magnetic field application/removal means for applying or removing a magnetic field; a low-temperature-side heat exchanging section; a high-temperature-side heat exchanging section; and a medium transfer mechanism for performing the inflow/outflow of the heat transport medium to the heat exchanger through the inlet/outlet ports. A first region and second and third regions which intercalate the first region are provided in the heat exchanger, and the pressure loss in the second and third regions is higher than that in the first region upon the passing of the heat transfer medium through these regions.</p>
