<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultrasonograph for emitting ultrasonic beam to an object at various irradiation angles and combining a plurality of images obtained by processing ultrasonic echo signals reflected in the object, and to provide a method for operating the ultrasonograph. <P>SOLUTION: The ultrasonograph includes: a beam irradiating unit which has an ultrasonic probe and irradiates the object with ultrasonic beam at irradiation angle different for each frame; an image processing unit for processing the ultrasonic echo signal which is reflected in the object and returns, and deriving a partial image for each frame; and an image combining unit for combining the partial images derived by the image processing part for each frame and rendering the partial images, thus forming an entire image of the object so as to extend an angle of view of the object. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
