<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an input detection device, etc. which can accurately detect multi-point inputs by using a differential detection algorithm. <P>SOLUTION: An input detection device detecting touch inputs to an input screen of a touch sensor 10 having electrodes placed on a grid includes: reading means 30 detecting touches by sequentially scanning every two or more electrode lines which are adjacent on the scanning sequence from an end of the input screen to the opposite end while shifting line by line, and acquiring a difference between detection data obtained from a half of the scanned lines which are successive and from the other half of the scanned lines which are successive; and calculation means 40 integrating the obtained differences for the entire input screen to obtain touch information. If an integration result obtained in the case where the scanned two or more lines stretch over the scanning finish end and the scanning start end does not satisfy a predetermined value, the calculation means 40 resets the detection data obtained from the line located at the scanning finish end. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
