<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an elevator suspension means abnormal position detector that not only can suppress the erroneous detection of an abnormality of a suspension means but also can accurately detect the position of an abnormal part of the suspension means. <P>SOLUTION: The invention includes: a rope abnormality detector 6 that has a status detector 8 to detect the abnormality of the rope 3 which moves up and down a car 4 and a rope abnormality decision device 9 to decide the existence/nonexistence of the abnormality of the rope 3 on the basis of the detection signal of the status detector 8; a car position speed detector 10 that detects the position of the car 4; and a car position estimation device 12 that estimates the position of the car 4 when the status detector 8 detects the abnormality of the rope 3 on the basis of the position of the car 4 the car position speed detector 10 detects and the elapsed time from the time when the status detector 8 detects the abnormality of the rope 3 to a time when the rope abnormality decision device 9 decides that the rope 3 has an abnormality. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
