<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vibration type linear actuator capable of simply performing an amplitude adjustment for each of a plurality of movable blocks. <P>SOLUTION: A vibration type linear actuator 1 comprises: an electromagnetic core block 2 having an electric magnet 4 which alternately forms different magnetic poles by electrification; two magnetic blocks 10 which have permanent magnets 12 which are oppositely arranged to the electromagnetic core block 2 and generate attractive or repulsive force to the magnetic poles formed by the electric magnet 4 and which are relatively reciprocated to the electromagnetic core block 2; a pair of coupling plates 20 reciprocatably supporting the magnetic blocks 10 respectively; and a coupling spring part 30 connecting the magnetic blocks 10 with each other.
