<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a combined filament yarn that comprises different color spun-dyed filaments uniformly combined in a degree of a monofilament, exhibits a spun yarn texture, has a conventionally unavailable excellent hue, and is excellent in aesthetic property. <P>SOLUTION: A combined filament yarn excellent in aesthetic property is produced as follows. Pluralities of spun-dyed long filament bundles A, B having different colors are respectively opened to become flat yarns. The flat yarns are superposed in a thickness direction of the flat shape. The resultant is passed through 2 sets of nip rollers having a different peripheral speed in the order of a low speed nip roller set R1 and a high speed nip roller set R2. At that time, each set of nip rollers holds the flat yarns between the rollers in the thickness direction to keep the flat shape.
