<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power state control apparatus and a power state control method reducible of power consumption. <P>SOLUTION: The power state control apparatus includes: a CPU 145 to which an operation voltage is supplied at the standby state and at the low power intermediate state, and the supply of the operation voltage thereto is interrupted at the low power state; and a detection microcomputer 125, the supply of the operation voltage thereto is interrupted at the standby state, and to which the operation voltage is supplied at the low power intermediate state and the low power state. The CPU includes a detection driver 235 and a power state control application 243 which are configured to start up at the low power intermediate state and control the shift to the standby state or the low power state. The detection microcomputer is shifted to the low power intermediate state when an event is detected in the low power state, then, informs of the detected event. The detection driver and the power state control application are configured to determine whether the informed event becomes a main cause to recover to the standby state, and when the event does not the main cause to recover to the standby state, processing corresponding to the event is performed to shift to the low power state. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
