<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To display an enlarged stereoscopic image, which facilitates observation of an area of interest, without imposing a burden on an observer, when extracting the predetermined area of interest in two radiological images constituting the stereoscopic image, so as to perform the enlarged display of the extracted area of interest. <P>SOLUTION: In a stereoscopic image display method, the radiological image in each imaging direction detected by a radiological image detector is obtained by applying radiation to a subject from two imaging directions different from each other, and the stereoscopic image is displayed on a display section on the basis of the two obtained radiological images. Information on the areas of interest corresponding to each other in the two radiological images is obtained; image processing including enlargement processing, such that a depth position of the area of interest serves as a display surface of the display section, is applied to the radiological image within a partial range in the radiological image including the obtained area of interest; and the stereoscopic image in the partial range is displayed on the basis of the two image-processed radiological images in the partial range. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
