The present invention provides a method for producing a composition containing 2-acyl-lysophosphatidylserine, the method comprising: (a) a step for obtaining a composition containing phosphatidylserine by causing phospholipase D to act on a starting material containing phosphatidylcholine while in the presence of serine; and (b) a step for obtaining a composition containing 2-acyl-lysophosphatidylserine by causing phospholipase A1 to act on the composition containing phosphatidylserine while in the presence of at least one type of additive selected from a group consisting of (I), (II), and (III). (I) represents at least one monovalent cationic salt selected from a group consisting of sulfates, phosphates, nitrates, citrates and tartrates, (II) represents a gum, and (III) represents an emulsifier.
