<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light source device and a projector that are able to cool a light emitting part efficiently. <P>SOLUTION: The light source device includes: an arc tube having the light emitting part for emitting light; a first reflecting member for reflecting light emitted from the light emitting part; and a rectifying member 56A disposed between the light emitting part and the first reflecting member and used for rectifying a cooling fluent that cools the arc tube. The rectifying member 56A has: a rectifying surface 564 for guiding the cooling fluid, circulating toward the rectifying member 56A, to the light emitting part; and a pair of upright surfaces 565 extending upright from both ends of the rectifying surface 564. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
