<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle door operation mechanism capable of quickly restoring the vehicle door to the state where the door can be kept being closed down in a time of emergency when the door can not be kept being closed down because of problems such as a motor failure. <P>SOLUTION: A vehicle door operation mechanism 100K of the present invention functions as follows. In a case where a motor power transmission lever 160 abnormally stops and sticks at the swing end position in a first swing direction, an operation in a closing direction of an in-vehicle operating handle 18 makes an in-vehicle handle interlock lever 140 swing from a starting position in a second swing direction, and the in-vehicle handle interlock lever 140 pushes and swings a relay lever 190. Then, a connecting pin 166 moves from a power transmission position to a power cut-off position to be able to move in an L-shaped second arc path 154B, and the power transmission from the motor power transmission lever 160 to a vehicle exterior handle interlock lever 150, a ratchet interlock lever 130 and a ratchet 30 is cut off. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
