<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a foam having satisfactory thermal insulation performance. <P>SOLUTION: A styrene-based resin foam contains air bubbles enclosed with an air bubble film and having an average air bubble diameter of 100-300 μm, and slices (excluding a surface layer) of the styrene-based resin foam sliced in a thickness of 1 mm have an average infrared radiation transmittance of ≤20% in a wavenumber range of 400-1,000 cm<SP POS="POST">-1</SP>. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
