<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power steering apparatus which enables a sensor to be adjusted and has a simpler structure. <P>SOLUTION: A steering housing 7 for housing a steering shaft 2 is configured by connecting a second housing (gear housing 71) to a first housing (sensor housing 70) for housing a sensor 4. Upon the connection, the first opening 701 of the first housing and the second opening 711 of the second housing face each other.
