<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform an appropriate backup management in a system extended over a public cloud service without being conscious of a dynamic configuration change by a virtualization technology. <P>SOLUTION: A backup/restoration processing apparatus performs: determining, when detecting a server configuration change in a system 100, 110 or 120, whether it is necessary to change a backup setting for the system (210); determining a procedure for the backup setting change processing corresponding to the change in a system configuration (230); executing the backup setting change processing corresponding to the change in the system configuration (240); memorizing the result of the executed setting change processing (220); storing backup processing result information for each system to a storage device (250); and generating, when obtaining failure information from a system where a failure is occurring, a restoration procedure and restoration point corresponding to the obtained failure information and executing restoration processing for the failed system (270). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
