<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an engine test device that can quickly determine a problem occurrence spot when a pressure change occurs in a test target passage of an engine, and engine test method therefor. <P>SOLUTION: An air supply unit 3 supplies air to a lubricating oil route being a test object passage of the engine 1.
