<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light deflector capable of preventing the adhesion of foreign substances to a reflection surface. <P>SOLUTION: A light detector comprises a rotating member 10, a shaft member 15, a holding system, a motor, a driving system, and a resin film 60. The resin film 60 is attached on a +Z side of a polygon mirror 12a, and the diameter of the resin film 60 is larger than the diameter of a circumscribed circle of the polygon mirror. The resin film 60 is a resin film which is subjected to drawing processing, and adhered to the rotating member 10 by a thermosetting adhesive. When the rotating member 10 rotates, a flow of outside air which flows in is bent on a surface of the resin film 60, and the air flows toward a pressure lowering portion (a negative pressure portion) along the surfaces of the resin film 60.
