The invention relates to an adapter ring for rolling bearings, in particular wheel bearings, said adapter ring being provided to relieve seal arrangements during the pressing-in process of the preassembled rolling bearing. Thus, it is not necessary to omit the popular insert function of the rolling bearing, but simultaneously expensive rolling bearing steel can be saved because the outer ring (1) of the rolling bearing can be designed with a narrower width. For this purpose, the adapter ring (17) has a hollow cylindrical fixing part (7) that is provided for fixing on the outer ring and a hollow cylindrical extension part (6), said extension part being provided for receiving a seal arrangement (9) and/or partly forming the seal arrangement. |
