A system and method are provided for verifying presence at a location is defined. In an embodiment, user information, user identifier information, vendor information, and time information is stored in at least one database accessible to at least one processor. First electronic user identifier representing a first user is received from a first computing device respectively associated with a first identification tag reader, wherein first identification tag reader received the first electronic user identifier. In addition, first vendor information respectively associated with the vendor is received, as is first electronic time information representing a time when the first user is present at the location. The name of the first user and the name of the vendor are determined as a function of the first user identifier, the first vendor identifier, and at least some of the electronic user information; and are transmitted to at least a third computing device. |
