The purpose is to provide a centrifugal separation-type oil separation means capable of improving cyclone efficiency, and a freezer equipped therewith. The oil separation means is provided with: an outer cylinder (2) extending in an axial direction; an inner cylinder (3) passing through the interior of the outer cylinder (2) in the axial direction; a pair of end plates (4a, 4b) provided on both end surfaces of the outer cylinder (2) in the axial direction; an entrance opening (5) for introducing a fluid containing oil emitted from a compressor into a cavity (7) formed between the outer cylinder (2) and the inner cylinder (3) in a manner such that the fluid rotates around the axis, the entrance opening (5) being connected to the outer cylinder (2) near one end plate (4a); and an exit opening (6) for discharging the fluid from which the oil has been centrifugally separated therefrom from the cavity (7), the exit opening (6) being connected to the outer cylinder (2) near the other end plate (4b); and an oil discharge opening for expelling the separated oil from the cavity (7) and provided in the outer cylinder (2). The cavity (7) is provided with partition plates (8, 9) that extend at least partially in the cross-section orthogonally intersecting the axial direction, and partition the cavity (7) in the axial direction thereof.
