POLYCLONAL ANTIBODY RECOGNIZING HUMAN FULL-LENGTH PTEN-INDUCED PUTATIVE KINASE 1 PROTEIN AND USES THEREOF

PURPOSE: A polyclonal antibody which recognizes human PINK1 protein and a quantiation are provided to effectively detect PINK1 in human brain. CONSTITUTION: A polyclonal antibody recognizes 1st-21th amino acid sites from amino terminal of human PINK1(PTEN-induced putative kinase 1) protein having an amino acid sequence of sequence number 1. The antibody specifically recognizes full-length human PINK1. A method for quantitating PINK1 in a biological sample comprises: a step of contacting the polyclonal antibody with the biological sample; a step of quantitatively detecting immunological complex; a step of contacting the PINK1 polyclonal antibody with purified PINK1 antigen to obtain standard curve; and a step of comparing the amount of the protein with the standard curve.
