<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sealing device of a rotary part of an engine, having high sealing performance, easy in manufacturing a cylindrical sleeve, and simplifying fixing work of the cylindrical sleeve. <P>SOLUTION: This sealing device of the rotary part of the engine is provided by allowing an oil seal 3 fixed to the engine to abut on an outer peripheral surface of the cylindrical sleeve 2 by fitting the cylindrical sleeve 2 to the rotary part 1 of the engine. The sealing device of the rotary part of the engine is provided so that a fixation of the cylindrical sleeve 2 to the rotary part 1 of the engine performs tight fit by press-in at the room temperature, by forming a surface-hardening processing layer on an outer peripheral surface of a cylindrical steel material, by using the cylindrical steel material as the cylindrical sleeve 2. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
