<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an adhesive application device that attaches a highly volatile adhesive to a long material with spiral irregularity on the outer peripheral surface, such as a steel rope, in the circumferential and longitudinal directions without deterioration so as to allow the adhesive to be applied uniformly on the irregularity in the circumferential direction with less variation in thickness in the longitudinal direction. <P>SOLUTION: An adhesive application device for applying an adhesive to a long material to be coated with irregularity on the outer peripheral surface, such as a steel rope 1, is provided with a solution storage tank 11 enabling temperature adjustment for storing an adhesive 41, a discharge mechanism 26 for discharging a required amount of adhesive, a cylindrical nozzle 2 into which the material to be coated 1 is inserted while being moved and that attaches to the material to be coated 1 the adhesive discharged from the discharge mechanism 26 from a supply hole, and a restrictor 3 for adjusting the thickness of the adhesive attached to the material to be coated 1. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
