A treatment instrument for an endoscope having improved liquid delivery performance is provided. The treatment instrument for an endoscope comprises: a cap member (19) that is disposed at the tip of a sheath (31), and in which liquid discharge openings (43A, 43B) through which liquids are discharged are formed; and an electrode (21) that is supported by the cap member (19). The electrode (21) comprises: a rod-shaped electrode (45) that is disposed so as to be able to project from and retract into the cap member (19); and a tip member (47) that is connected to the tip of the rod-shaped electrode (45), and extends in at least two directions intersecting the longitudinal axis of the rod-shaped electrode (45). Liquid delivery areas (49A, 49B), through which discharged liquids are forced to flow, are disposed on the tip member (47) over the extended axis line of the liquid discharge openings (43A, 43B) formed in the cap member (19). |
