<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To discover poor welding easily in the stage of leak test in the manufacturing process of an enclosed secondary battery. <P>SOLUTION: A battery container 11 into which an electrolyte is injected through an electrolyte injection hole is placed in a chamber 24 and enclosed. When the battery container 11 is enclosed, pressure in the chamber 24 is reduced by means of a vacuum pump 23. Under this reduced pressure environment, a sealing body mounting tool 50 mounts a sealing body which seals the electrolyte injection hole on the electrolyte injection hole of the battery container in the chamber. Thereafter, a laser irradiator 25 irradiates the periphery of the sealing body mounted on the battery container 11 with a laser beam through a laser transmission window 26 formed in one surface of the chamber, thus welding the sealing body to the battery container 11 by laser welding. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
