<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To ensure the mobility of a portable radiation imaging system. <P>SOLUTION: In an X-ray imaging system 2, an X-ray source 10 has a lightweight and small-sized X-ray tube 18. The X-ray tube 18 is a fixed anode X-ray tube without having a target rotating mechanism. The X-ray tube uses a cold cathode electron source 30, which does not need a filament and its heater. An image acquisition control device 12 moves the X-ray source 10 to each of a plurality of positions predetermined on a cross bar 23 of a holder 14 by control of a drive source 48 of a shift mechanism 27. Whenever the X-ray source 10 reaches each position, the X-ray source 10 emits X-rays to an object P, and a cassette 11 detects the X-rays. Based on a plurality of image data thus obtained, a tomographic image, which puts emphasis on a region ROI of interest inside the object P, is produced. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
