METHOD AND KIT FOR DETECTING HELICOBACTER HEPATICUS AND METHOD FOR REFINING HISTONE-LIKE DNA-BINDING PROTEIN OF HELICOBACTER HEPATICUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a kit for detecting an antibody of Helicobacter hepaticus with ease and high accuracy, and a method for refining histone-like DNA-binding protein of Helicobacter hepaticus used for the method for the detection.

SOLUTION: The method for detecting Helicobacter hepaticus comprises a step of determining whether a specimen contains an antibody of Helicobacter hepaticus or not using a carrier to which histone-like DNA-binding protein of Helicobacter hepaticus containing an amino acid sequence represented by SEQ ID NO:1 is immobilized. The method for refining the histone-like DNA-binding protein uses an antibody-coupled carrier coupled with a monoclonal antibody obtained from a hybridoma HRII-51 or a monoclonal antibody obtained from a hybridoma HR63 (deposit number FERM P-19616).
