<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a vehicle front structure, which secures rigidity and strength of an air intake duct at normal times, but on the occurrence of a collision with a pedestrian, does not interfere with the deformation of a hood. <P>SOLUTION: In the vehicle front structure, a cover support piece 72 is formed by being overhung from a sidewall 58 of the air intake duct 26 to support a cover with the cover support piece 72. The cover support piece 72 is formed in a cantilevered shape, so that the cover support piece 72 can be deformed by a lower load than the deformation load of the air intake duct 26, while maintaining the rigidity and the strength of the air intake duct 26. Accordingly, the cover 34 covering the air intake duct 26 can be deformed downward the vehicle, thus the hood 18 positioned on the upper side of the vehicle relative to the cover 34 can be deformed downward the vehicle. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
